Who We Work With

Interior trades and teams that lean on our numbers.

We slot into your workflow as a dedicated interiors estimating arm—whether you’re chasing one key tender or handling a steady stream of fit-outs and renovations.

Drywall & acoustics contractors Interior general contractors Commercial & retail fit-out specialists Multi-residential builders Property managers & facility teams Painting & coatings contractors Flooring contractors
  • Busy tender seasons where your in-house estimators are stretched thin.
  • Scopes that are too small for a full-time estimator but too important to guess on.
  • Repeat interiors work where consistent formats and assumptions matter.
  • GCs who want an independent check against sub-trade pricing.

We’re comfortable jumping into live opportunities or building out baseline budgets for future interior programs.

Flexible engagement

Use us for one project or build us into your standard process.

Some clients send us every interior scope on a job; others bring us in only for drywall, flooring, or painting when they don’t have capacity in-house. We’ll tailor the level of detail and formatting to match how your team reviews and approves numbers.

How It Works

A clear interior estimating process from drawings to numbers.

You send the drawings and information you have; we send back quantities, cost breakdowns, and assumptions laid out in plain language.

1
Drawings & project context

You upload drawings, finishes schedules, and any bid instructions, along with a quick note on how you price labour, material, and mark-ups.

Tender addenda? We’ll flag scope changes so you’re not blindsided on bid day.

2
Detailed interior takeoff

We complete the interior takeoff in the agreed software, apply your measurement conventions, and organize quantities by level, area, or unit—whatever your team finds easiest to review.

We can separate material and labour or provide blended unit rates based on your inputs.

3
Review, adjustments & hand-off

You receive a clear summary sheet plus detailed backup. Need alternates, VE options, or a revised price scenario? We’ll turn those around quickly.

All assumptions are documented so your PMs and site teams know what’s included.

Deliverables

What you actually get back from us.

Every interior estimate is packaged so that owners, estimators, and project managers can understand the numbers without digging through messy files.

  • Summary sheet showing totals by trade (drywall, flooring, painting, etc.).
  • Breakdowns by area or level so you can see where the value sits on the job.
  • Material and labour split (where requested) to match how you buy and staff work.
  • Assumptions and clarifications log that travels with the estimate into construction.
  • Optional alternates / VE options if you’re exploring different finish levels or products.
  • Editable format so your team can adjust unit rates, mark-ups, and fees as needed.

We can match standard templates your company already uses—or help you build a consistent format if you don’t have one yet.

File formats & tools.

Interior estimates are typically delivered in Excel or Google Sheets, backed up by takeoff files and marked-up drawings where available.

  • Spreadsheets ready to attach to your bid or share with ownership.
  • Room-by-room or unit-by-unit breakdowns for multi-residential and hospitality work.
  • Optional export for your project management or accounting software.

If you have a specific software stack, mention it when you request pricing so we can align from day one.

Why Interior Teams Come Back

Questions

Interior estimating FAQ.

A few common questions we get from interior contractors and GCs. If you don’t see yours here, just include it when you request pricing.

Can you work from partially complete drawings?
Yes. We’ll flag any assumptions we need to make and highlight areas that are likely to change as the design develops, so you can caveat pricing properly with owners and GCs.
Do you provide budgeting as well as tender-level pricing?
We can help with both. For early-stage budgets, we’ll lean on benchmark data and ranges. For tender-level work, we tighten assumptions and match your current supply and labour rates.
How do you handle addenda and revisions?
When drawings are revised, we update the takeoff for affected areas, highlight changes, and issue a simple revision log so you can see exactly what moved between versions.
What if my team prices labour differently?
We’ll structure quantities so they can plug in their own unit rates and productivity factors. If you share your typical labour build-ups, we can align with those as well.
